    Vinyl: EXCELLENT (EX)
'EX' means the record looks and sounds pretty clean. It may have barely any marks, and if it does, they are superficial and very small. These marks DON'T affect the sound. An 'EX' record is good enough to keep in your collection for a lifetime.

    CROCODISCOS VINYL GRADING SYSTEM

Here at CrocoDiscos, our goal is to sell records that make you satisfied, so we only sell records in great condition!

No record on this site has skips or noise that overpowers the music. Also, we don't sell polished records (a criminal practice of some Brazilian sellers, who sand down vinyl to hide marks). All records are professionally cleaned.

Below is our own grading system, simple and objective, so you know exactly what you're buying.

ATTENTION: our grading refers only to the condition of the VINYL.

You can check the condition of the COVERS through the images, as all our listings have ORIGINAL PHOTOS of the product for sale.

    Near Mint (NM)

‘NM’ means that the record is in pristine condition, both sound-wise and visually. It has NO marks and NO noise. Even though it was pressed many decades ago, a 'NM' record looks like it left the store just yesterday.

    Excellent (EX)

'EX' means the record looks and sounds pretty clean. It may have barely any marks, and if it does, they are superficial and very small. These marks DON'T affect the sound. An 'EX' record is good enough to keep in your collection for a lifetime.

    Very Good + (VG+)

'VG+' means that despite some details, the record sounds pretty great. A 'VG+' record may have light and superficial marks, but these marks DON'T cause constant background noise or strong crackling. Most of Brazilian records that have been well preserved are in VG+ condition. Even pressed around 50 years ago, a record preserved with care, even if played several times, will last forever.

    Very Good (VG)

'VG' means, first of all, that despite marks, the record still plays well. A 'VG' record may have more visible marks, and these marks may cause some crackling in some parts of the record, or perhaps some pops. Even so, listening to a 'VG' record is a pleasant experience because, as said at the beginning, we only sell well-preserved records!
