Cravo e Canela, another Brazilian masterpiece with an obscure backstory...

Back in the ‘70s, the ‘Equipe’ label producer used to hang out at the Sheraton nightclub in Rio de Janeiro. One of those nights, Cravo e Canela was performing, and Cadaxo, the producer, went crazy for their music and right then and there, he invited the band to record the album ‘O preço de Cada Um’.

With a repertoire full of classics by Luiz Gonzaga, Sivuca, Humberto Teixeira, Noel Rosa, Dom Um Romão, and others, the group gave a fresh twist to classic popular tunes with modern arrangements and incredible vocals. The whole album is a journey that blends samba, forró, and bossa into a heavy groove with a dash of soul!
